We’re working with an entertainment company that’s recognised and respected globally, to find a Marketing Lead to manage all marketing and organised play activities for a brand that’s loved the around the world.
This is a standalone role with the opportunity to drive impactful initiatives, work closely with retailers, and contribute to the growth of one of the most iconic brands in the world of gaming.
As the Marketing Lead, you’ll spearhead marketing efforts, supporting sales strategies, organised play activities, and retail partnerships. You’ll work closely with the UK Retail Sales Executive, other key stakeholders, and the company’s central marketing team to execute impactful campaigns. This role offers a unique blend of strategic planning, hands-on execution, and budget management, ideal for a proactive and creative marketing professional passionate about the games industry.

Key responsibilities…
Develop and manage local trade marketing activities for the UK mass market and other key regions
Create engaging marketing projects, materials, and support tools tailored to retail needs
Collaborate with customers, providing support for sales efforts, in-store activities, POS materials, and display units (FSDUs)
Deliver regular reports on marketing activities and sales performance
Support the UK Retail Sales Executive in managing operations with local organised play (OP) partners
Assist in organising trade and consumer shows
Act as a key liaison for digital activities, collaborating with the central marketing team to ensure alignment and execution
Oversee and manage the UK promotional budget
Work closely with sales teams to align marketing strategies with business goals
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless project execution
The skills and experience you’ll being to the role…
3 or more years in a marketing or similar role, with experience across multi-regional markets
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Exceptional organisational skills with a high attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team while showing self-sufficiency
Proven resilience, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Non-essential but desirable…
Enthusiasm for the games industry and a passion for anime culture
Knowledge of the unique dynamics of organised play
A university degree and/or relevant marketing qualification
