We’re working with a world-renowned entertainment company to help them bring in a Brand Communications Strategist.

You’ll be joining a company who is home to some of the industry's top franchises, published under major labels and a dedicated team shaping some of the biggest games in the industry.

As Brand Communications Strategist, you’ll take on a pivotal role in crafting and executing the global communications strategy for a portfolio of high-profile game titles.

Reporting to the Head of Franchise, you will develop and manage strategic messaging to build excitement, education, and engagement with players worldwide.

This role can be worked on a hybrid basis or remotely from within the UK, please note, applicants to the role should hold the right to work in the UK.

Your responsibilities…

  • Work with Brand Managers to create a cohesive communication strategy for your portfolio of titles

  • Craft and fine-tune key messaging based on press and community feedback

  • Embody the tone and voice of the brand, producing compelling copy for all channels, including press releases, blog posts, and social media

  • Oversee the sourcing and approval of game assets for PR and social use

  • Develop messaging guides for studio spokespeople and represent the brand as a recognized expert when needed

  • Coordinate press, influencer, and consumer events with the Events team

  • Directly manage the Global PR Manager and Social Media/Community Managers to ensure all messaging is accurate, engaging, and on-brand

  • Handle crisis communication when necessary

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…

  • Experience of launching a AAA product with a major publisher or agency

  • 5 or more years in a communications role, with PR, social, or community management experience preferred

  • 3 or more years in the games industry

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Strategic thinker with an eye for detail and the ability to shape broad campaign narratives

  • Collaborative approach, able to work with diverse teams and stakeholders

  • Strong copywriting skills, able to craft or guide compelling, accurate messaging

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Passionate gamer with a deep understanding of the Western gaming market and media landscape

  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in MS Office
