​Previously from a Sport/Promotions & Marketing background, Recruitment was a bit of a left turn, but after working within Recruitment (of sorts) for almost a decade, I've found myself lucky enough to work in an industry I've grown up LOVING - the Video Games Industry!

When did you start playing games?
As long as I can remember, I’d say birth but I don’t remember that too well. I go as far back as the Sega Megadrive (whenever that was). Growing up, it was something to do to get away from the rain, but as an adult (err), it gives me allocated time to not be asked to do things around the house, which is an absolute blessing.

What's your favourite game or series?
FIFA is always a go too, but I’m a big fan of the Uncharted series, they were/are class. I can’t run, jump, or climb like Nate Drake, so it’s nice to pretend.

What's your career background?
I’ve followed the pretty standard recruitment route for specialist recruiters, start in temps in a high street recruitment business, then move into perms (commercial and industrial), then ended up working within specialist Legal Recruitment. As much as I loved that, I was never from a legal background but I’ve always loved gaming…so here I am.

What was your first job?
I washed pots, it was rank.

What was the first thing you bought with your own money?
Probably a tram ticket, coincidentally so I could get to work...vicious cycle.

What's your favourite place you've ever visited?
The Philippines, don't ask questions about it, just go!

What kind of pet do you have and how did you choose it's name?
I have a Cocker Spaniel. He's called Archie because it just suits him to look at, but he's mental so I should have picked something more menacing.

What job would you be terrible at?
Baker!!! I can't bake. The Great British Bake Off is my Everest. Scares the life out of me. How do they not just burn everything? (I'm not a bad cook though)
