Job description
We're working with a successful mobile game developer in the heart of Berlin! The studio is working on some huge mobile titles, we're supporting them on a search for a Senior Unity Engineer.
As a Senior Unity Engineer, you will be a driving member on a cross-platform game team on mobile. The ideal candidate is a team player who, while working together with other Engineers, empowers relationships with other disciplines, to raise the bar in terms of quality and productivity of the entire team.
This is a hybrid position, with 2 days a week spent in the studio.
Your responsibilities…
Designing and implementing systems to create the highest quality games.
Contributing to the design and code reviews, as well as mentoring and growing other team members.
Working closely together with other tech teams on shared technology.
Work with key stakeholders to constantly improve the quality of the game and team productivity.
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
Professional experience working with Unity on mobile titles.
Proven track record in shipping game titles in Unity on either Mobile or PC/console.
Expert in C# and have a strong understanding of patterns and architectural concepts.
Experience working with big codebases and keeping them nice and clean.
A team player, and value collaboration over personal achievements, and able to communicate across disciplines.
Able to translate complex product requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
An understanding of the different mobile platforms and their performance implications.
You understand the business and the “why” that drives business decisions.
You have experience with writing automated tests.
Ideally, you have experience creating tools and understand both art and content pipelines.
