Roll7, creators of exciting and critically acclaimed video games like the BAFTA-winning Rollerdrome are working with us to find a Senior UI/UX Artist.
You’ll be joining a studio where innovation, freedom, and a real sense of fun are at the heart of everything they do, from creating award-winning original IPs to the everyday business of running their unique distributed workplace set-up.
As Senior UI/UX Artist you’ll be working on an exciting new game project and bridging both the Technical and Art teams. You’ll be working under the Art Director, delivering remarkable UI/UX in Roll7’s games to further enhance Roll7’s flow state games ambition.
Your responsibilities…

As Senior UI/UX Artist you’ll be working on an exciting new game project and bridging both the Technical and Art teams. You’ll be working under the Art Director, delivering remarkable UI/UX in Roll7’s games to further enhance Roll7’s flow state games ambition.
Your responsibilities…
- Create mock-ups based on the game design requests.
- Create assets in Illustrator and Photoshop based on a style guide
- Work very closely with UI Artists, UX Artists, and UI Programmers
- Executing all visual design from the concepting stage to the implementation
- Maintaining the consistency of the existing style, constantly optimising it, and creating new ways of making it more exciting
- Designing UI animations and transitions for PC and Consoles
- Documenting UI style guides
- Working closely with the Artists to create interfaces for concepts and new features
- Inspiring others and exchanging feedback
- 5+ years' experience in the Art/Design field, with at least two years in the games industry
- Two or more shipped titles as a Senior UI Artist
- Confident understanding of typography and basic colour theory
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator required)
- Proficient with Unity Game Engine
- Able to understand technical implementations, and limitations
- Experience in prototyping pre-vis UI
- A portfolio showcasing strong skills in graphic design, 2D art and motion graphics
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- A can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills
- A love of working with others and can provide clear direction and feedback when needed
