Job description
We are supporting a London based mobile games studio in their search for a Unity Marketing Developer.
As a Unity Marketing Developer you’ll collaborate with the studio’s dev team and use your Unity and C# skills to modify and iterate on gameplay; delivering engaging marketing creatives that will feature in campaigns to promote the studio’s growing portfolio of mobile titles to existing fans and new players alike.
You’ll be able to get as creative as you like, experimenting as you go, with a goal of showcasing the games and gameplay elements in a way that grabs the attention of players.
The studio is passionate about exceptional mobile gaming experiences and relishes taking on fun, creative challenges to deliver hyper casual titles that appeal to their growing player base that has surpassed 150 million players.
This is a hybrid role, with flexible hours and 3 days on site in the studio’s south London office (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday).
Your responsibilities…
Modify, build, and iterate on gameplay using existing game repositories to refine visual appeal for advertising.
Experiment freely to enhance creative output and gameplay attractiveness.
Share modified versions with the development team and seek feedback for further iterations.
Record, edit, and upload videos to test and release global advertising campaigns.
Benchmark competitor ads and analyse performance metrics to improve creative effectiveness.
Iterate on and optimize playable advertisements using CocosCreator.
Stay current with mobile gaming trends.
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
Worked on the development of a published mobile game title.
3 or more years’ experience in free-to-play (F2P) mobile game development.
Solid understanding of key mobile game marketing KPIs (CPI, CTR, etc.).
Expertise in creating mobile game marketing creatives.
Proficiency in Unity and C#.
Experience with mobile games market analysis and trend monitoring.
Ability to adhere to existing code styles and collaborate effectively within a development team.
Strong communication skills that foster discussion and collaboration.
Solid math skills, including vector math and dot products.
Comprehensive understanding of Git.
Non-essential but nice to have…
Familiarity with mobile app analytics platforms like Data.ai, AppMagic, and Sensor Tower.
Experience with CocosCreator and TypeScript.
Previous experience publishing games on iOS and Google Play Store.
Familiarity with plugins such as UniRx, OdinSerializer, FinalIK, and PuppetMaster.
Knowledge of ad network dashboards, ( Google Ads, Mintegral, Facebook, Unity Ads).
