Job description

We’re working with Dialect, an integrated creative agency that specialises in gaming and tech audiences, to find them a Gaming & Partnership Manager to build and own the AAA category at Dialect and drive revenue growth.

As Gaming & Partnership Manager, you will work in close collaboration with the Commercial Director and use your experience in establishing and nurturing senior-level commercial relationships within the video games industry to acquire, maintain, and optimise relationships on behalf of Dialect with the goal of increasing revenue.

Dialect value qualities such as energy, proactivity, and big picture thinking, an unwavering desire to drive commercial growth via new business for the agency will be pivotal in this role.

With creative, media, data and client services teams based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, and Bath, Dialect boast a client list including Ubsisoft, NetEase, Wizards of the Coast, Logitech, NVIDIA and non-endemic brands like Starbucks and McLaren.

Your responsibilities…
  • Work alongside the Commercial Director to develop a category specific strategy that takes into account the competitive landscape and layers sales cycles to ensure targets are met and allows for longer term opportunities to be secured
  • Open doors at a senior level to allow conversations directly or with our divisional experts to unearth opportunities
  • Utilise your existing industry contacts and relationships to highlight opportunities for Dialect
  • Power up on Dialect’s narrative and take this to market in adaptive ways to open up conversations
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director to identifying new and emerging markets to explore
  • Build proposals and manage the internal pitch process on your opportunities, initially with support before becoming autonomous
  • Provide a  senior presence at key industry events and support the sales teams in engaging high-level decision makers
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
  • 5 or more years’ experience in a senior-level manager position targeting AAA video game publishers globally
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets within the games sector
  • A knack for simplifying a narrative and communicating complex service offerings in an easily understandable way
  • Knowledge of the Games Industry including primary brands, digital platforms, market trends, and emerging technologies
  • Genuine interest and enthusiasm for all things digital, including finding new ways of working internally and externally with client marketing and engagement
  • Experienced in generating leads and managing a  pipeline of opportunities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage and interact with potential customers
  • Ability to influence and persuade potential partners, coupled with a goal-oriented mindset
  • Capable of professionally and confidently communicating across all levels of seniority
