We've partnered with a renowned Berlin based mobile developer, as they search for an Economy Designer.

As an Economy Designer you will use your data-driven mindset to ensure players have engaging, long-lasting and fun experiences and create economy models that facilitate new features and event creation, while staying healthy in the long run.

Your new studio creates immersive casual games where players shape their story through their actions with stories that go beyond dialogue; blending art, design, writing, and engineering to create unforgettable experiences.

Your responsibilities will also include…

  • Collaborate closely with LiveOps, Game Analysts, Customer Care, Data Scientists and Feature development teams to assess trends in the game economy and control it’s levers - installed and maintained by you

  • Stay on top of new trends in the mobile game market (esp. the hidden object genre)

  • Reverse engineer solutions from competitive titles and learn from them

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…

  • 4 or more years’ experience of Economy Design

  • Previous mobile game development experience

  • Design and LiveOps experience

  • Experience expanding a game economy to support expanded feature sets and LiveOps events

  • Understanding of economical dynamics as a part of the user experience and how they can be used to improve KPIs

  • Experience working with data, ideally with knowledge of SQL

  • Effective time management skills

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with international teams
