As a Lead Economy Designer, you will play a key role in creating engaging and sustainable game economies that enhance player experiences in one of their most successful titles. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a small team of Economy Designers, providing guidance to improve overall game performance.

Your responsibilities…

  • Design and manage economy models that support new features and maintain game balance

  • Collaborate with teams across LiveOps, Game Analytics, Customer Care, Data Science, and Feature Development to monitor and optimize the game’s economic health

  • Stay up to date on mobile gaming trends, especially within the hidden object genre, and learning from competitors' successes will be essential to improving the game's economy

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…

  • Solid background in game design and live-ops, very experienced setting up and expanding game economies to support live events and new features

  • Deep understanding of economic dynamics within user experiences, along with proficiency in data analysis (including SQL) and advanced spreadsheet skills for balancing, monitoring, and live-ops purposes

  • Strong time management, cross-functional collaboration, and clear communication skills are required, as is the ability to visualize and present ideas effectively

  • Experience mentoring fellow Designers is a significant advantage

Perks and benefits…

This company offers a generous relocation package and support with home searches for those moving to Berlin, as well as childcare assistance through partnerships with local kindergartens.

Professional development is highly encouraged, with an education budget, extra self-development days, and access to internal workshops and events.

Additional perks include yoga sessions, mindfulness apps, transport and sports subsidies, and a dedicated Purpose Day for volunteering. They also offer German language classes, including for partners.

The studio follows a hybrid work model, with two days per week in the office to encourage in-person collaboration, while the other three days offer the flexibility to work remotely, with an additional 10 days annually to work from abroad.
