Based in rural but accessible Guildford, they are an amazing and long-standing studio with a 'no crunch' approach to development.
As their new UX Designer, you will be responsible for developing user experience strategies and designs to achieve reusable and scalable game interfaces that immerse the player in an intuitive experience. Your analytical eye and user-centric design experience will enable you to create process flows, low-fidelity wireframes, and designs that communicate detailed interaction behaviours.
Collaboration will be key, as you bring together requirements from Art Directors and Game Directors to develop in-game visual style guides, UI design systems, information architecture, and game features. You will work with a multidiscipline team of artists, engineers, and technical artists.
The skills and XP you'll need to succeed:
- Games UX experience with a visual design portfolio that demonstrates your user interface and graphic design skills
- Experience in the aspects of player experience flow, from brief/problem definition, to the solution of the problem
- Capable with the user journey by means of flow charts/information architecture, wireframes, and potential prototypes
