Unreal Gameplay Programmer

 

Warp Digital – London, UK

***This role is available as both a permanent or contract position, and can be worked remotely or from Warp's central London location.***

Aardvark Swift are excited to be supporting Warp Digital in their search for an Unreal Gameplay Programmer! Specialising in co-development, production support, and porting, working with Warp Digital will give you ample opportunity to work closely with other members of the team to develop new titles on next-generation platforms.

Your role and responsibilities will include…
 

  • Working with a team of highly skilled programmers in an interesting and challenging PC/console project using Unreal Engine
  • Implementing gameplay features, UI, and platform specific features across both large and small scale titles
  • Liaising with other team members to schedule and complete tasks to a high quality

The skills and experience you'll need…
 

  • Expertise in C and C++
  • A specialisation in Unreal Engine 4 (C, C++ and Blueprints)
  • A minimum of 2 years commercial background developing videogames on console or PC platforms
  • Excellent written and oral communications skillset in English

Bonus points if you have skills and experience in…
 

  • Working on modern videogame console platforms (for example, Xbox One, PS4 or Nintendo Switch)
  • Client-server gameplay logic
  • Working remotely with a third-party development partner
