Job Description

Always wanted to visit the Great Wall of China, take a trip to the Forbidden City, cruise down the Three Gorges? In your new role, you could do all of this and more, as you'll be living in the heart of Beijing as a Technical Art Lead for a global AAA games company.

You'll not have to worry about finding a place to live in your new city either. Your new employer will make life easy for you and your pocket, by paying for your accommodation and offering full relocation assistance. Not for 1 week, not for 1 month, but for the duration of your employment with the company. You'll take home your full, above market rate salary and full private healthcare, without having to worry about your rent.

You'll be joining a huge player in the Video Game Industry owning multiple, very well known AAA console development studios. They are now looking to build a new studio to work on an exciting UE4 console project. You'll be joining the best of the best across AAA game development as part of this brand new team. Joining a studio in its inception is the perfect opportunity to build your team around you and be part of something great.

As the new Technical Art Lead, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining production pipelines, refining artist workflows and building robust, quality technical implementations.

This role is very hands-on, forward facing, as you'll be the main point of contact for stakeholders, in addition to mentoring and guiding the art, FX and lighting team members. You'll be working closely with other Leads and Directors to ensure that artwork meets visual and technical standards.

You'll be building upon your extensive experience in the industry, continuing to utilise Zbrush, Substance Designer and Maya. Even though this is a leadership role, there will be plenty of opportunity for you to develop your Frostbite or Unreal experience.
