Want to work in a small but experienced team, developing successful and engaging mobile games?
Winkel work on small and exciting projects, from rapid-prototyping to full-blown mobile games. They have an open approach to game dev, no idea is a bad one, and everyone is invited to share their thoughts and ideas.
Winkel have strong financial backing and currently boast a strong game development team made up of senior developers from Ubisoft, Square Enix, King, and Bandai Namco (to name just a few).
In this role, you will work as part of a small, collaborative team. Winkel encourages feedback, ideas, and suggestions from all team members, on all areas of the game. It is important to them that everyone feels able to share ideas and concepts.
Founded in early 2019, Winkel have started from scratch with no pre-conditions, no baggage, no boundaries, and no games! Everything is new, exciting, and fun. With minimal 'red tape,' and without a lengthy creative process, this is the kind of studio that can nurture your creative ideas, and allow you to have a big impact of their games.
As their new Senior Game Artist, you will be given the opportunity to take charge of smaller projects and pursue your own ideas.
The skills and XP you'll need to succeed:
- Experience working on mobile games
- Knowledge of games engines
- Ability to produce characters, props, and environments for 2D games
The following will earn you BONUS POINTS:
- Experience working on casual games, with a few shipped titles under your belt
- 3D art skills
- Working knowledge of the Unity engine
