Senior AI Programmer

AntiMatter Games – Cornwall, UK

If you're a programming veteran with strong C++ skills and have coding credits within AI for a shipped title you're the developer I'm looking for to become the Senior AI Programmer at AntiMatter.

Are you excited by the thought of joining a team of innovative and passionate developers at a games studio who have employee wellbeing at the forefront of their ethos?

You'll bring your experience and knowledge to their robust coding department, where you'll take on an exciting and varied role as your code touches all aspects of their first person spy/shooter IGI:Origins.

For this role your skills and experience should include…

  • One or more shipped PC/console titles with engine or graphics credits
  • Excellent knowledge of C++ and AI design skills
  • Experience of UE4 programming on published titles
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Be proactive, autonomous and self-motivating
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • BSc in Computer Science (or equivalent)

Do you have any of the desirable extras?

  • Cross-platform (PC, Xbox, PS) development experience
  • Knowledge about engine low-level systems: multithreading, networking
  • Experience with JIRA and/or Agile software development

AntiMatter Games is Cornwall’s largest game development studio. They developed Rising Storm, PC Gamer’s ‘Multiplayer Game of the Year’, and the critically acclaimed sequel Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. They are currently busy developing tactical FPS ‘83 as well as IGI Origins.

Living in the area will position you perfectly to explore the tranquil South Coast or Cornwall's crashing Atlantic North Coast. In their downtime the team can be found cycling, surfing, kayaking, swimming, beachcombing, walking, enjoying live music or capturing beautiful sights by camera.

On rainy days you might find a friendly game of Dungeons & Dragons to take part in, oh and of course they also play video games!
