UK Retail Sales Executive

Windsor – United Kingdom

The iconic Konami are searching for a UK Retail Sales Executive to join their team in the historical town of Windsor in the southeast of England. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Retail Sales person to join a legendary studio responsible for some of the most treasured IPs in the industry – from Pro Evolution Soccer to Metal Gear Solid, from Silent Hill to Yu-Gi-Oh! – Konami have made it all.

In this role, you will be supporting the Sales Manager of the Northern Europe branch to seek out new business opportunities and deliver growth, working across the mass channel retailers, with the focus being primarily in the UK. You will target new businesses, identifying the key retailers and prioritising these. You'll be pitching and presenting throughout this role, so clear and concise  communication skills are essential.

Your role and responsibilities will include…

  • Developing new sales with mass retailers in all Northern Europe territories, primarily focusing on those in the UK
  • Creating the strategic channel growth plan
  • Expanding and implementing sales plans by retailer, working with the UK marketing team to gain visibility and in-store space
  • Achieving and hopefully exceeding sales quota for FY in all Northern Europe retailers
  • Delivering monthly sell-out analysis, forecasting and reporting by retailer
  • Constructing strong internal relationships and work cross functionally within the business

The skills and experience you'll need to be successful in this role…

  • A familiarity in retailer sales
  • An expertise in forecasting data & trend analysis
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
  • An adeptness for building relationships
  • Toys, retail, licensing, video game or entertainment category exposure is desirable, however experience in other categories will still be valued
