This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Recruiter to join an award-winning recruitment agency in a thriving market. You'll be provided with training and coaching by experienced Recruiters; gaining all the skills you'll need to support the business while developing your skills and industry knowledge.

You will receive ongoing support and coaching throughout your probation period whilst you learn the market and embed yourself into your new role. As a Recruiter, you will be accountable for successfully sourcing, screening, and placing candidates, whilst developing client relationships and growing a strong talent pipeline.

We’ve invested in improving our offices, taking on the adjoining premises to create a collaborative working environment. We’ve now developed a breakout and gaming area complete with a shiny new next gen console, gym equipment, showers, and a new kitchen diner.

To make sure we’re supporting the team as much as possible we’ve recruited a full time L&D Manager to keep us moving forward and developing the team at Aardvark.

We’ve introduced and trained Team Leads to better support our recruiters and foster an even greater collaborative spirit. This new position also forms part of the new career options for our Recruiters.

We’re also working towards improving the diversity of the Aardvark team, this is one of the mission goals for our internal recruitment team as we continue to grow.

Your key day-to-day accountabilities will include…

  • Developing an intimate understanding of your active candidate pool, their experience, motivations, and search requirements
  • Logging all key notes and information onto the company CRM system, ensuring all records are continually updated
  • Using LinkedIn and other social media platforms strategically to engage with both candidates and clients to build brand awareness
  • Developing a good understanding of the clients we work with and proactively generating new business through a variety of methods
  • Undertake vacancy qualifying calls with clients to understand and analyse job requirements
  • Writing excellent copy for job adverts to be published on the internal and external websites
  • Managing the entire interview process for your candidates
  • Being consistently on track with your deliverables, KPIs and sales

Additional day-to-day duties will include…

  • General recruitment administration
  • Submitting candidate CVs to clients
  • Keeping abreast of video games news via social media and industry press
  • Remaining GDPR compliant

  • Time/Task Management capabilities – Effective time management to plan your week, organisation, prioritisation, goal setting, communication, planning, delegation and stress management
  • Resilience – Showing strength of character and have the capacity to recover quickly from setbacks
  • Adaptability – You can problem solve and use creative thinking to allow you to respond quickly to changing ideas, responsibilities, expectations, trends, strategies and other processes.

You'll also need…

At least 2 years’ experience within a Sales or Recruiter role
Track record of hitting sales and KPI-related targets
Account Management experience – you’re not a one hit salesperson; on the contrary, you want to build long standing relationships
IT Skills – Comfortable using technology as an integral part of your role. You understand the power of social media as a communication platform and recruitment tool.
