Real-Time (UE4) Technical Director

We’re working with a leading film visualisation company based in a prime London location. They’re at the forefront of feature film development, with credits ranging from Hollywood blockbusters to interactive VR experiences. You will be working in Unreal Engine as part of a team of four TD's, working with the Virtual Production Pipeline and Art teams to support the use of real time engine technologies within the film industry. From creating shaders and materials, to pipeline tools development and performance profiling, you’ll be a key part of the technical art team driving the planning and use of new features.
We’re looking for someone who ideally already has games industry experience using UE4, and able to bring a high level of knowledge and experience to an industry that’s still developing their adoption of real-time engines.
If you’ve got a strong mix of technical skills across UE4, Maya, Python & C++ then I would love to hear from you!
Essential skills needed
- Expert knowledge & confidence in using Unreal Engine
- Maya & Python scripting, or other similar software.
- in depth knowledge of blueprint and game-play systems development.
- Great C++ programming knowledge
- Proven games industry experience, with a Technical Animator credit on at least one published title.
