Activision Blizzard are on the look out for an Overwatch Community Manager to take part in the development and execution of Owned and Earned community programs, with a goal of improving the EMEA player base enjoyment of and engagement in the franchise ecosystem(s), turning as many as possible into ambassadors for their games.

In a company that serves and engages millions of players across EMEA, you will contribute to building the most sophisticated data-driven and player-centric marketing practices, and to reinventing communication with players by extending their epic entertainment experience beyond their games.

Your role and responsibilities will include…
 

  • Collaborating with the regional Social Media teams, CS, Franchise leads, Marketing & Comms teams.
  • Supervising and evaluating impact of community & influencer outreach programs by providing insight to the EMEA marketing teams
  • Engaging indirectly in key topics of conversation within franchise owned and earned channels
  • Working in partnership with PR teams and own the relationship of key members and influencers within the community
  • Being a champion and an internal advocate for the players and game communities in assessment of message priority, risk and cultural feedback
  • Embody a “player first” mentality, and act as a representative of AB in online channels and at community events as the need arises

For this role, you will need…
 

  • An ability to deliver high quality work while managing multiple projects.
  • Deep understanding of Activision and/or Blizzard game(s), social media channels, and local gaming communities
  • Intuitive communication skills and passion for teamwork
  • Extensive background in influencer management
  • A genuine passion for gaming and technology
  • Ability to speak and write in English plus one European language fluently
