Winkel Games are looking for a Moblie Games Artist to become their newest member at their London-based studio, creating and publishing Casual mobile games for a wide audience. Comprised of an industry-experienced team, they have started from scratch with no pre-conditions, no baggage, no boundaries and no games! Everything is new, exciting and fun.

Your role and responsibilities will include…
 

  • Collaborating with small teams developing mini games, being responsible for the art from concept to implementation of assets, including simple animations and UI
  • Working alongside programmers and the Product Manager to help create and implement high quality visuals within technical constraints, and deadlines
  • Being proactive, and interested in coming up with new ideas in prototyping stages, and creative solutions

The skills and experience you'll need…
 

  • A comfortability with 2D (Photoshop) and 3D (Maya, Blender, or 3Ds Max) for casual audiences
  • Expertise working in Unity
  • Familiarity with UI and animation principles
  • A fluency in English
  • 2+ years of professional development working on games/apps, preferably on small teams or autonomously, owning the art
  • An ability to adapt to an existing art direction, open to receive constructive feedback and focused on creating the best player experience
