You'd be joining a studio who has over a decade of experience in this field, producing stellar games which are enjoyed by people around the globe! This opportunity sounds good, doesn't it? Your search is over!

The talent behind the recent instalment in the highly acclaimed GRiD series are on the lookout for an experienced Game Engine Systems Programmer to join them.

Based at their impressive, purpose-built Southam studio (which includes an on-site gym, beautiful countryside scenery, and an in-studio pub), Codemasters need you to engage in the development and maintenance of game engine and systems functionality. You’ll be responsible for delivering and implementing high-quality solutions and features, ensuring low-level memory management and code optimisation. The secret to their success is all down to the creativity, the vision, the tech, and the team. You could soon be a part of that!

If you’re looking to work for a AAA developer that encourages career development and upskilling, has access to cutting-edge technology, and provides a friendly and inclusive working environment, then look no further!

The skills and XP needed to succeed:

  • Capable with multi-threaded/parallel programming

The following will earn you BONUS POINTS:

  • Cross-platform and console development experience
  • Platform specific debugging and profiling tools

In return, you'll receive the following from the studio:

  • Flexible working hours designed to fit around your life
  • Annual bonus structure
  • Dedicated training time for self-improvement
  • Free on-site gym
  • Large on-site car park and free shuttle bus to and from Leamington Spa
  • On-site subsidised catering
  • The Masters Arms pub

Their Southam studio is a short (company arranged) bus ride from beautiful Leamington Spa (voted one of the happiest places to live). There is a strong game development community scene, and plenty of things to do there!
