I’m a Learning & Development professional and love being able to get creative and build new ideas to help with learning in any environment. Aside from work, I love spending time with my family, going on trips, having lots of laughter, and making memories, socialising with my friends (with a bottomless brunch or two) and having lazy quiet days with a good book or a Netflix binge. I often say that my main hobby is shopping but it’s a great way to keep fit – cardio from all the walking and weightlifting from carrying the bags!

What’s your career background?
I have a varied career background – I first started working in Retail whilst studying Drama and Theatre Studies. After a couple of years, I changed my environment and worked for three large BPO companies, in a range of roles, before working my way up into Learning & Development and Management. For the past eight years, I have worked across a range of industries in a Learning & Development capacity.
What’s an average day look like for you at Aardvark Swift?
My day is split into three areas: Research, Create and Deliver. Whether this is for new people into the industry or our experienced team members, everyone needs support, training, and refreshers to ensure our skills and values are in-line with business expectations.
What do you love most about your job?
I love all aspects of L&D, from bringing new people into the business and going on through their learning to help support and guide them in their role – whatever that may be. Being able to see where people start and how the progress is one of the best feelings to play a part in their journey.
Favourite memory so far?
Getting the call from Ian with the job offer! Might not seem a lot to some people but receiving that call and feedback from him (and other members of the team) just made me feel valued and ready to get into a new challenge. And I’m pretty sure that I will make loads of memories moving forward!
