As you might guess from my job title I love all things creative! I specialise in videography, but dabble in music, writing and photography. Aside from that I love being outdoors, exploring the peak district and finding new places on bike or foot.
Favourite Games: Halo Reach, Red Dead 2, Warzone
Favourite TV Series: Spaced
Favourite Film: Submarine
Favourite Book: The Catcher in the Rye
Favourite Song/Band: Always – Blink-182
How did you get into games as a hobby?
For as long as I can remember I’ve been playing videogames: Crash Bandicoot and Crazy Taxi on the Dreamcast and Xbox is where it all started, but what really got me hooked was playing the Halo 3 campaign on co-op with my cousin. Since then, I love playing games socially, bit of friendly competition or team building is always good!
What’s your career background?
I graduated in 2020 so my background isn’t as extensive as many; but during my time at University I worked in retail – particularly gaming retail, so coming to Aardvark seemed like a perfect move!
What’s an average day look like for you at Aardvark Swift?
An average day brings many different types of content for me to create, edit, film and photograph. No two days are the same, but creating job vacancy videos and graphics are a constant that I try to keep fresh and engaging whenever possible.
What do you love most about your job?
I really enjoy having the responsibility of my role; having a creative input in the content we produce as well as having tangible products of my work to look back on at the end of the day really gives me a lot of satisfaction and motivation to keep honing my crafts.
