Thursday the 7th of November saw the return of the TIGA Awards 2019, an annual celebration of achievements within the video game industry. Hosted this year at the National History Museum in London, it was a fantastic event that we were able to attend. Representing Aardvark Swift were Ian Goodall (Managing Director) and Simon Hope (Director & Head of Recruitment).
We were incredibly fortunate to be nominated for two awards on the night as Aardvark Swift were up for Best Recruitment Agency and our Grads in Games scheme was nominated in the Education Initiative and Talent Development category. The event was well-attended, and it was “great to see so many fantastic studios, publishers, service providers and institutions get recognised for their hard work!” remarked Simon.
“It was great to see the industry thriving and full of energy and positivity. Lovely to bump into existing clients and some old friends!” added Ian. It would turn out to be even more special for us as we were announced winners of the Best Recruitment Agency group! It was a humbling experience to be recognised this year and to get to bring home the award for our team who have done their best to pull out all the stops this year for their clients.
Going forward we will strive to hit the same high bar we have set for ourselves and are always available to talk to current and potential clients of all shapes and sizes.
