Welcome to Aardvark Swift QA and Localisation!

The desk is managed by myself, Danny Johnson

I handle career opportunities within the QA and Localisation departments of our clients in the games and mobile industries. Clients range from newly formed start up developers right through to well established independent super-studios as well as the in house development teams for many of the large publishers.

I place candidates at all levels including: Translators, Testers, Lead Testers, QA Managers, Localisation Testers, Project Managers and Localisation Managers.

Testing

An excellent way to gain entry into the Games Industry!

Many clients seek no previous industry experience for junior testing vacancies - but an interest in computer games is essential! Lots of the industry’s current Producers and senior QA staff began life as a Junior Tester.

Testers are expected to play through various games across all the different platforms (PC/Xbox/PS2/Xbox 360/PS3/PSP/Mobile)

As a Tester you will be responsible for playing computer games and reporting all errors and bugs to make sure games are working correctly before being released.

I handle vacancies in different areas of testing including Functionality, Game Evaluation, Compatibility and Localisation.

Localisation

Most Clients require their localisation roles filled with native speakers of a particular language.

For more junior positions, normally only a degree in translation / interpretation is required and some non games related translation experience. But a keen interest in computer games is essential :)

For senior and team lead roles games experience normally required.

Many companies use our services exclusively – which means the only place you will hear of their vacancies is through Aardvark Swift.

Take a look at our clients to see a small selection of the companies we are working with.
