The client

Hasbro are a global leader in children’s and family leisure time entertainment products. They provide the highest quality and most recognised play experiences in the world.

The assignment

Jen, our Toy Industry consultant was asked to source a Telesales Executive to work in their Stockley Park office.

Our approach

Jen held an initial client briefing with Hasbro’s HR Manager, who outlined the required skills and experience. It was also brought to our attention that several people were already at final stage interview – so we needed to move fast! We were asked to focus on quality, not quantity to provide an extra couple of candidates for comparison.
The role was advertised on Reed.co.uk, and other job boards. We also searched our database and discussed the role with matching candidates as well as asking for referrals. We contacted candidates that we’d met that year at Toy Fair in London who had subsequently registered with Aardvark Swift.

The outcome

Within 48 hours, 3  good quality CVs were sent – one from a direct applicant from Reed, one from Monster and the third a candidate we’d met and interviewed at London Toy Fair.

1 interview took place and the candidate was offered the role on the spot! This was the candidate Aardvark had met and interviewed at Toy Fair.
